Each July and August, it gives me the greatest pleasure to welcome to England our groups of enthusiastic International Students who arrive to study English in the sunny seaside town of Eastbourne. Since 1989, when I opened my first annual summer course at the college, there have been many important and exciting changes in the world. National frontiers are relaxing and barriers disappearing. This has created new opportunities for educated and adventurous young people to travel away from home, experience different cultures, study languages and then later perhaps decide to return and work overseas for a while.

• Whatever job you go for today, the name of the game is Communication.
• Never before has the international language of English been so important.
• Learning a foreign language is never easy, but to live for a few weeks in the country where everyone speaks it is one way to make fast progress.

Interactive summer programmes that are made up of an exciting blend of language, sport, culture, activites, excursions new freinds and great atmosphere.
